Anglia DNA Services Limited is a leading DNA testing laboratory based at the Norwich Research Park. Established by Dr Thomas Haizel in 2004, Anglia DNA specialises in DNA testing for legal purposes, where it is typically required in family law, child support, immigration and probate.

In 2005, the laboratory became accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service to ISP 17025, International Standard for paternity, maternity, family relationship and sibling testing; shortly followed by accreditation from the Ministry of Justice to carry out parentage tests directed by the civil courts in England and Wales under section 20 of the Family Law 1969.

From its grass-roots Anglia DNA has sought to innovate, since its launch a number of other competitors have come onto the market, but few are able to rival its excellent customer support and its 8-hour express DNA testing service.

In 2009, this innovation went a step further, with the launch of assuredna; the UK's first over-the-counter paternity test available in independent pharmacies nationwide. The test is designed purely for family peace of mind and cannot be used in court; it provides families with an answer, bringing clarity to weeks, months or even years of doubt. The test can help families to accept the truth and get on with their lives. Following the success of the product - it has become the first paternity test to be launched in a major high street retailer, Boots, now available in 375 stores nationwide. This is the greatest achievement that has happened to date.
